Visiting the landmark of Chiang Mai the Wat Doi Suthep temple located 1050m above sea-level. The temple is built around a 32m high golden Chedi. You will visit the Handicraft Villages- an umbrella making- center a silk factory a wood carving center and a silversmith.
Mae Hong Son(2 nights) Mae Hong Son Province, also spelled Maehongson, Mae Hong Sorn or Maehongsorn, is one of the northern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Mae Hong Son nickname is the city of three mists. With its remote setting and surrounding mountains, Mae Hong Son fits many travellers preconceived notion of how a northern Thai city should be. Mae Hong Son is located 924 kilometres from Bangkok. Whether you go for bustle or laidback, Mae Hong Son is a more attractive and popular town than Pai.

Day 01: Chiang Mai (L)
Your local Guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport and you will embark on a city tour visiting the landmark of Chiang Mai the Wat Doi Suthep temple located 1050m above sea-level. The temple is built around a 32m high golden Chedi. On clear days you can enjoy an excellent view of Chiang Mai and the surrounding area. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 02: Chiang Mai (B/L)
After breakfast you will head out to visit an Elephant Camp outside of Chiang Mai where you will see how the elephants are trained to work in the jungle (you may book an optional elephant ride at spot). Lunch will be served at an orchid farm and afterwards you will visit the Handicraft Villages- an umbrella making- center a silk factory a wood carving center and a silversmith. Following you will return to Chiang Mai for overnight.
Day 03: Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son (B/L/D)
In the morning you will leave Chiang Mai for Lamphun and a visit at the temple Wat Phratat Haripoonchai a Mon- temple which is highly revered in Thailand. Parts of its structure can be dated back to the 9th century. At noon return to the HOTEL FOR check-out and transfer to the airport for a 25 minutes flight to Mae Hong Son (air ticket is not included in the package price). After arrival you will be transferred to your resort just outside the town of Mae Hong Son. After dinner at the resort you will be visiting the Night Market. Overnight at Mae Hong Son.
Day 04: Mae Hong Son (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will embark on a city tour of Mae Hong Son. On the program are two temples of Burmese origin. You will also visit a cave where hundreds of carps are waiting for food. After return the resort the afternoon is free at leisure. Maybe you would like to take a guided bird-watching tour. That can be easily arranged as there is a national park right behind the resort. In the evening enjoy a romantic BBQ- dinner before overnight at the resort.
Day 05: Mae Hong Son – Chiang Mai (B/L)
Early breakfast and check out from the resort and transfer to a small Elephant Camp where you will change transportation from horsepower to elephant power and take a ride through the jungle. Continue by long tail-boat for a ride on the Pai River to Padong Village. You will there meet the famous “Long-necked women”. After a late late lunch you will be transferred to the airport for the flight back to Chiang Mai (air ticket is not included in the package price). Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 06: Chiang Mai – Bangkok (B)
Morning transfer to the airport and flight back to Bangkok or elsewhere.
