Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Meeting at airport upon arrival by Plan Holidays Personnel. We will pick up from airport and then escort you to your hotel in kathmandu. During the driving of half an hour, enjoy the heart-stopping views along the kathmandu city. After arrival at your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the local area, overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu-Chitlang
After Breakfast you will drive to Thankot its take 45 minute to reach in Panighat Thankot. After One & half hours steep climb to Chitlang Deurali 2000m. You found panoramic view of Himalayan and over looking beautiful valley of kathmandu city. Continous to hike two hours descend through the tropical forest to Chitlang village. You will be welcome into the community and invited to stay with one of the village families. Rest of the day Explore the village & Interaction with local community. Night stay in Chitlang, home stay at local house.
Day 03: Chitlang
After Breakfast Visit to the traditional Newari home, goat farm test of goat cheese, local village school. Enjoy view of Naspati garden. Afternoon visit Bhairab temple, Satdhara & Ashoka Stupa; the history of Chitlang VDC is believed to be related to this stupa, which itself holds the history of the visit by the great Indian Emperor Ashoka. Overnight at Chitlang.
Day 04: chitlang Pharping
After Breakfast we slowly procede the journey to Pharping following the main trail and visit the Dakshin Kali Hindu temple where many Chicken and Goats are sacrificed every Tuesday and Saturday and continue to visit Budhist Monastary (Gompa) above Pharping. After lunch visit Newari town Pharping and then visit Monastery above Pharping. After Monastery visit commence trek along local Newari Village Pulchok and ascend to Humaney Deurali (2000M.) excellent view of Ganesh Himal (7102m), Langtang (7234m), Shisha Pangma (8013m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Phurbi Ghyachu (6637m), Chhoba Bhamare (5970m), Gauri Shankher (7134m), Melungtse (7181m) Himalayas and over looking valley views.overnight at Pharping.
Day 05: Pharping- Kathmandu
After breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu. Rest of the Day is Leisure.
Day 06: Kathmandu
Today your Sightseeing tours to Kathmandu Durbar square, swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath & Bodhanath Stupa: Kathmandu Durbar Square is a complex of palace, courtyards and temples built between 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of mediaeval Malla Kings of Kathmandu. This is an UNESCO protected world heritage site. Swayambhunath Stupa watches over the valley from a height of 75 m from the average level of Kathmandu. This is one of the holiest Buddhist shrines in Nepal and its establishment is linked with to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of a primordial lake. This stupa, which is believed to be more than 2000 years old is also UNESCO enlisted World Heritage site. Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu Shrines in the world. Chronicles indicates the existence of the shrine prior to 400 AD. The shrine lies on the bank of sacred Bagamti River. The Bagamti River banks also serve as cremation sites to Hindus. Bagmati River in Nepal is considered as holy as Ganges in India. Bodhanath Stupa is the biggest Stupa of this kind in the world. This is also UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site. Bodhanath Stupa and its surrounding have kept the Tibetan culture alive. There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries dedicated to different sects of Tibetan Buddhism, in the vicinity of Bodhanth Stupa.
