Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu Meeting at airport upon arrival by Plan Holidays Personnel. We will pick up from airport and then escort you to your hotel in Kathmandu. During the driving of half an hour, enjoy the heart-stopping views along the Kathmandu city. After arrival at your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the local area, overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing In the morning, after breakfast, Your sightseeing will be visited places according to your interest. Visit Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath. Overnight at Hotel.
Swyambhunath Stupa: From here you can watches over the valley from a height of 75 m from the average level of Kathmandu. It is one of the worlds most glorious Buddhist Stupa, it is said to be 2000 years old. Visitors often call it Monkey Temple.
Pashupatinath Temple, with its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition, also being the temple of Lord Shiva possessed its two-storied golden roof and silver doors and is famous for its superb architecture, on the banks of sacred Bagmati River. Hindu pilgrims can enter the premises of the temple which Pashupatinath Temple stands. Chronicles indicate the existence of the shrine prior to 400 AD. The Bagamti River banks also serve as cremation sites to Hindus. You can also have the picture of them.
Boudhanath Stupa: It is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 03: Fly Lukla, Trek to Phakding Wake up earlier around 5.30am. After breakfast, we will take 20-25 minutes to the Domestic airport and take a scenic flight which take a 45min to Lukla, gateway to the Everest region flying over the Langtang and Jugal ranges that surround the Kathmandu basin and the Rolwaling Himal,Mahabharat Range mountains & Himalayan Range mountains. Himalayas that are seen on board are: Numbur, Gaurishanker, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Shishapangma , Phurbi Ghyachu, Amadabam could be seen .
Luklais most important place & gateway to Everest Expeditions & Everest Trekking .For people who does not have longer holidays they save 1 week by taking flight to Lukla from Kathmandu ,instead of taking the trekking route from Jiri. It is situated at 2860m (9383ft), having a airstrip, it has changed its face, becoming a town over the last few years time due to the influx of Trekkers. Lukla Airport, named as Tenzing -Hillary Airport in 2008, is very popular as it is start point to Mount Everest.The runway of airstrip is 460m by 20m (1510 by 66 ft)with 12% gradient. The elevation of airport is 2800m (9200ft).
You will meet porters & Sherpas waiting for you at the airport. You will be greeted with smiles. Depending upon your flight arrival time, we will plan your meals. if you arrived in time & weather favored you, you will be arrived in Lukla around 9-10 oclock in the morning. Sometimes it may take longer, & flight could be delayed too.You will be transferred to a lodge nearby about 5-10 min walk.You will have tea/coffee. Guide will brief about the plan of the day. Your luggage would be sorted out & divided to porters. You will have to separate your things for your day pack. Your luggage would be with the porters, they will carry your luggage & it will be available to you in the evening, at the lodge where you will overnight.
You will set out from Lukla, for Phakding Gradual downs -1 hours walk through jungle. Then arrive at Chaurikharka Village, a Sherpa village. In clear day you can see Numbur Himal from here. You will pass Chorten, Mani Wall ( prayers inscribed on the stone ). After an hour Short ups & Short downs walk you will arrive at THADO KOSHI River. Cross suspension bridge, then walk to GHAT village. Ghat villages you will see Mani walls, Terraces field & many chortens around this villages.
From THADO KOSHI river where you can have splendid view of Kusum Kangaru (6370m). after 1 and half hours walk from Ghat village You will reach at Phakding village. Our lodge has been arranged by our staff. Check in the lodge. Enjoy the dinner.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazzar After breakfast your trek continues from Phakding. While crossing the suspension bridge over DudhKoshi river,the trail is pleasant with a few short uphill & then downhill, crossing the view with magnificent peak of Thamserku(6608m). You will cross long suspension bridge again near Benkar village, after half an hour walk you arrive at Manjo. After few minutes walk, you will arrive the sagarmatha National Park check point. After check point, you have short descent to Jaorsale Village, It is the last village where you can still shop at until Namche. From here trail goes steep upward, there would be no shops found other places on the route until Namche. You will continue trek by the river until the last bridge over the Imjatse river is reached .From here the road goes up winding uphill all the way until Namchebazzar. As you climb higher you will have view of Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaru & there are also views of Mt Everest Nutse, Lhotse & Tawache peak. All the view is possible until Thop Danda.There will be still 1 -2 hours walk before arriving famous Namche, the sherpa capital village. Namchebazaar is a economic hub of sherpas, trekkers & local vendors.Traditionally the Namche village used to be trading post with locals bartering yak cheese & butter for agricutural goods grown at lower altitude. It is the places where trekkers stop over for at least two overnights for acclimatization There are many lodges, restaurants, Shops & internet cafes. On Saturday morning there is open market where Chinese daily household goods & clothing are main article of the market. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 05: Namche Bazzar This day can be spent relaxing at lodge, exploring the tiny shops in the bazaar and the local museum with exhibits of the flora, fauna, and history of the Everest region. We recommend you to take walk up to Everest view Hotel. You will have spectacular view of Everest, Lhotse & Amadablam. You can also participate in an optional hike to some of the Sherpa villages of Khumjung, which will take 2 hours to reach then after short walk you reach Khunde village, then get back to Namche. Day 06:Namche Bazzar – Thame Early in the morning,start trek towards Thame.This trail up to Thame is the same one that trekkers doing the Three Passes take but it also makes a good day trip from Namche although a bit longer than those mentioned previously. The one way distance is 9.7km (about 6 miles) along a good trail. After, 5 and hours walk we can reach in Thame. If you dont want to go the entire route you can stop for lunch at one of the small tea houses located between Thame and the bridge over the Theshyo Khola (approximately 4 km and 7kms from Namche). Thame is a traditional village that has escaped the crowds trekking to Everest and has one of the older monasteries in the region. The walk itself is peaceful with excellent views of the mountains as it winds in and out of the forest on the side of the canyon. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 07: Trek via Khumjung- Tashinga After breakfast, start trek to tashinga, the trail to Tashinga is much more interesting today as we will pass many prayer flags and mani stones and chortens. We follow a spectacular path that traverses around the hillside high above the Dudh Koshi River. Following the classical approach route to Everest through winding trail for about 2.5 hours we reach Tashinga. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 08: Trek To Tyangboche,back to Tashinga Early in the morning,descending down to the small hamlet of Phunki Tenga lying beside the Dudh Kosi. The trail climbs past some water-powered prayer wheels and begins a sustained climb through a forest of tall, mature rhododendrons. From the view point at the top of the hill Tengboche, there are awe-inspiring views of distinctive peaks like Amadablam (6856m), Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), Lhotse (8501m) and inspiring views of other Himalayan giants. After lunch and exploring of the monastery and its surroundings, after then return to Tashinga. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 09:Tashinga-Manjo Today,after breakfast begin trek to downhill to the hidden valley of Khumjung village. The path leads gently up the shallow valley and onto Khumjung, the education center of Khumbu and visit the Khumjung monastery and the Kunde hospital. We head further to Village of Mende where we stay overnight and rest of the time enjoys exploring surrounding areas. The lodge has the most awesome views of the surrounding mountains like Kongde Ri, Thamserku, Kang Taiga, Kusum Kangru and Khumbila. With a monastery and a few monks as year-round neighbours, Mende has an amazing sense of tranquility and peace. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 10: Manjo- Lukla This morning we will depart from Manjo,trek back to Lukla along the same trail, although it always looks different coming from the opposite directionand continue our descent along the Dudh Kosi, before making a final ascent to reach the Lukla. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 11: Fly Kathmandu An early morning flight takes us back to Kathmandu, and gives us a last view of the mountains we have just spent a time for exploring. We can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12: Departure You will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for onward journey or to your next favored destination.
