Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Meeting at airport upon arrival by Plan Holidays Personnel. We will pick up from airport and then escort you to your hotel in kathmandu. During the driving of half an hour , enjoy the heart-stopping views along the kathmandu city. After arrival at your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the local area, overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: kathmandu- Lumbini
You will drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism and the Light of Asia. Lumbini is situated in the Terai belt of Nepal and is accessible by 5-6 hours drive from India. Visiting Lumbini in fact is a form of veneration to Lord Buddha who first acquainted with the 4 Noble Truths and laid 8 fold-paths to liberate the humankind from the ocean of sorrow.
In Lumbini, you will Visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha, marked by an Ashokan pillar, Queen Maya Devi Temple, the Pushkarani Temple, where queen MayaDevi took a religious dip before giving birth to Buddha. There are ruins of ancient monasteries and stupas and also you can see the new monasteries and stupas built by different Buddhsist world like China, Korea, Japan, and Myanmar etc. Lumbini is one of four magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being at Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya and Sarnath. Lumbini was where the Buddha lived until the age of 29, also located here is the Puskarini or Holy Pond where the Buddha’s mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath, as well as the remains of Kapilvastu palace.
Day 4: Lumbini-chitwan
After 4-5 hours drive we reach at our Next destination Chitwan National Park . Overnight at Hotel. Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It also contains a Ramsar Site Beeshazari Tal in its buffer zone. It is famous as one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia, and you’ll have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and up to 544 species of birds, 17 other species of snakes, starred tortoise and monitor lizards, at least 43 species of mammals .
Day 5: Chitwan Jungle Activities
Today you will be kept busy in jungle safari activities like Elephant Riding, Bird Watching, and Canoeing etc. Overnight in hotel or camps. After breakfast, you will go for a canoe trip to explore the aquatic life of Chitwan National Park. You will have opportunity to see some rare aquatic bird life of the park. After conclusion of the canoe ride, you will be picked by the riverside and transferred to hotel or you can go to search wildlife on foot in the forest of Park. This is quite adventurous trip. You will walk back to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the Elephant Back Safari. The elephant takes you inside the dense forest and grassland in search of Great Asian One-horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Sloth Beer, deer, monkeys, wild boar and 460 different species of birds.Royal Bengal Tiger, being territorial and nocturnal in behavior, will normally not appear during the day, but sometime your luck can do wonders and you can have an unforgettable sight of the king of the forest. After a ride of more than one hour, you will come back to the camp. In the evening, there will be Tharu Tribal Dance performed. Dinner and overnight bungalow.
Day 6: chitwan Pokhara
After a drive of about 3-4 hours, you will arrive at Pokhara, the second most popular tourist destination in Nepal. This is the center of adventure. An enchanting city, nestled in a tranquil glacier-rock valley at an altitude of 827m has a lot to offer to visitors-caves, lakes, gorges and viewpoints. The spectacular panorama of Annapurna range forms its backdrop.
Day 7: Pokhara
You will take a full day sightseeing tours in Pokhara valley. That includes visiting temples, caves, gorges and waterfalls and boating in lakes as well. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views and many adventurous outdoor activities. Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake are the major attraction for sightseeing and boating. The Tal Barahi Temple is located at the middle of Phewa Lake. Many other religious places can be found in Pokhara like Bindabasini Temple, Gupteswor Mahadev Temple inside the Gupteswor Cave, peace and beautiful White peace Gumba and several others. The top of Sarangkot offers the amazing views of Annapurna range to the north of Pokhara including Annapurna and Machhapuchhre as well as the sunrise and sunset. Day 8: Pokhara-kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast drive to kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu Optional Enroute you will enjoy 3 hours of white water rafting on the Trisuli or visit the famous Manakamana temple ” The Goddess of Wishes” where you can take a cable car ride. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9: kathmandu
Sightseeing tours to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Bodhanath Stupa. Overnight at hotel.
