The Langtang valley is aptly called the valley of glacier. Here the mountain valley is spectacular. The highlights of Langtang Circuit trek are numerous however the main areas of interest are the rhododendron and bamboo forests with an abundance of wildlife, majestic waterfalls flowing over mammoth boulders, a chance to bathe in soothing hot springs, magnificent views of the snow covered white giant Langtang Lirung (7,200m/23,622ft), Visiting the holy lakes of Gosainkund. On either side of valley, mountains rise, soaring in to the sky. The valley offers pain forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow- capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild Primus. In the upper part of valley there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lake with iceberg floating on them and water of crystalline brightness. There are also high mountains of slide ice. Gosainkunda, regarded as sacred land in Hinduism, is dotted with lakes atop the mountain, offering a quiet. There are few visitors outside of those who come for the summer festival. Helumbu is the land of Sherpa village where you can see many monastery and ethnic groups and panoramic view of the mountain between Annapurna to Mt. Everest. The course is varied- you encounter Lamas and see Gorpas (monasteries), Chorten (Stupas), and Mani stone (Prayer walls). Most of ethnic groups believe in Buddhism. If you are in there in wintertime you will see their great festival call Loshar. The great Himalayan peaks staying as a border between the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal and the roof of the world; Tibet is enchanting. The trekkers come in contact with temperate forests, snowy peaks which give the feeling of heaven. Helambu was once considered a hidden, sacred domain and its misty ridges and fertile valleys are still comparatively isolated. The peaks of Langtang Himal are clearly visible from the area. The people living the highlands of the Langtang region are certainly the Nepalis, being the descendant of the Tibetan origin, they still look like Tibetans. Langtang-Gosainkunda-Helambu Trek explores different landscapes of the Langtang Region; the beautiful Helambu and Langtang valleys and the holy Gosainkunda lakes.
