YUKSOM: The historical capital of Sikkim, Yuksom is rich in history and tradition, as it was here that the first Chogyal of Sikkim was consecrated by the three Lamas
TSOKA: Tsoka is a slightly larger settlement with a few houses, a monastery and is the last village on the route.
DZONGRI: The vegetation changes to stunted bushes of rhododendrons and miniature pine trees resembling bonsa is as you gain altitude with every step to reach Dzongri. Dzongri top which at 4350 meters is higher than most mountain peaks in Europe, presents yet another view of the Kanchenjunga along with other ranges basking in the glory of the rising sun.
THANSHING: Thanshing is the base camp for mountaineering expeditions to Mt. Tinchinkhan (6010 mtrs).
SUMETHANG: Blending with the backdrop is a pristine blue water lake of glacial origin with an adjoining stream to form a picture which is nature lovers ultimate dream.
GOECHALA: A path way located at 4200 mtrs, higher than any place in Europe. After sun shine, the area is engulfed with fog and cloned banks.
