Trip Highlights:

MMamallapura(1 night): which is located on the coast on the Bay of Bengal. Visit to the 7th-century Shore Temple which is surrounded by lush gardens, followed by an exploration of the celebrated bas-relief at Arjunas Penance and the Five Rathas.

Pondicherry(2 night): The coast to the former French colony.Visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, where Sri Aurobindo and the Mother lived for the most parts of their lives, is a major attraction of this little city. The Pondicherry Museum is home to some of the most exquisite collections on architecture and sculpture. Walk through the French Quarter.
Tanjore(1 night): The fertile region known as the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu to Thanjavur(Tanjore). The monumental graniteTemple of Brihadeeshwara (Bull Temple) which is capped by a monolithic cupola and a symbol of power and might of the Cholas who ruled between 9th and 13th centuries. Enjoy a wonderful collection of royal remnants of early 19th century at nearby Thanjavur Palace.
Madurai(2 night): Madurai is Tamil-born and Tamil-rooted, one of the oldest cities in India, a metropolis that traded with ancient Rome and was a great capital long before Chennai. Visit The Rock Fort, the temples of Ganapati and Shiva. Thereafter visit the Grand Ranganatha Swami Temple on the island of Srirangam, Grand Meenakshi-Sundareshwara Temple, Meenakshi Temple and the Tirumalaya Nayak.
Periyar(1 night): Proceed for a boat cruise on the Lake Periyar to view wild animals which come to the lake.
Kumarakom(1night): Boatcruise on the Backwaters of Kerala along the small canals bordered by small villages and coconut plantations.
Cochin(1 night): Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue at Jew Town, the Chinese fishing nets and the Churches of St. Francis and Santa Cruz.
House Boat(1 night): Enjoy at House Boat.
Kovalam(3 night): Kovalam is a beach town among the most pristine in India by the Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India, located around 16 km from the city center. The larger of the beaches is called Lighthouse Beach for its 35 metre high light house which towers over it atop Kurumkal hillock.
