Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. In Nepal it is a challenging sport for outdoor lovers. There are some terrific, dizzying places for those who get their kicks from crawling up vertical cliffs. If you are not making it to some of the kingdom high peaks, here another opportunity to get a high. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climberâstrength, endurance, agility and balance along with mental control. Most of the areas for Rock climbing are situated towards the north of Kathmandu several places and nearby Pokhara & in Everest region, Nagarjun Balaju, Hattiban, Khumbu Rock climbing, Bimal Nagar,Nagarkot& shivapuri. We take you to the beautiful Nagarjun Forest, Hattiban or shivapurifor a full day of climbing. It is also the training grounds for Nepali Army Special Forces (where they learn to climb and repel). Our instructors are top notch for beginners and novice climbers. We will teach you all you need to know to get started with rock climbing.

Nagarjun; It is outside of Kathmandu in the Nagarjun Forest, this is a great place to climb. The climbing site has wide range of routes and is best place for beginners, intermediate and professional climbers. There are 20 routes of varying difficulty, chimney climbs, overhangs and bouldering. If you want a cliff hanger experience in Nepal, the Kathmandu valley perimeter offers some hair raising spots. There are some terrific, dizzying places for those who get their kicks from crawling up vertical cliffs. Nagarjun highest pitch is about 20 meters. This area is controlled by the army, and you must take a Nepali guide with you. Grades 4a to 7a.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to Swayambhunath Stupa; Swayambhunath Stupa, dedicated to Buddhism is situated in a hillock 80 m above the ground level and is claimed to be 2000 years old. There are numerous Buddhist monasteries (Gumba) around. The view of the valley is spectacular from here. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Rock Climbing in Nagarjun
Our Vehicle and climber guide will pick up at your hotel and 35 minuets drive to Nagarjung Hill. Spend the whole day rock climb then drive back to Hotel in the evening.

Day 03: Kathmandu
Today is leisure day In Kathmandu. You can indulge in shopping at Thamel and prepare for next day departure.

Bimal Nagar-(Optional 2)
Bimal Nagar climbing site is situated in the south west from Kathmandu and it takes almost 5 hours by bus on the way to Pokhara. It is 140 km from Kathmandu. If you are coming from Pokhara then it is 60km from Pokhara there are many nice climbing routes. There are only few fixed route where you can go climbing it is 55m natural rock climbing and four pitches and some single pitch it is just 5 minutes from the road. There is very good rock wall for climbing, where you can enjoy the view of Mt. Manaslu and Marshyandi River flowing. There are various climbing routes in this site too. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Meeting at airport upon arrival by Plan Holidays Personnel. We will pick up from airport and then escort you to your hotel in kathmandu. During the driving of half an hour , enjoy the heart-stopping views along the kathmandu city .After arrival at your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the local area, overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Bimal Nagar
Today transfer to Bimal Nagar from Kathmandu. It takes 5 hours of drive from the valley will take us to Bimalnagar. The distance between Kathmandu and Bimalnagar is 140km and between Pokhara and Bimalnagar is 60km. rest of the day is leisure

Day 03 : Bimal Nagar
Spend the whole day rock climb .Overnight at tent

Day 04: kathmandu
You will spend some time exploring the natural surroundings of Bimal Ngar and after breakfast you will leisurely drive back to Kathmandu or you can indulge in shopping at Thamel and prepare for next day departure.

Day 05: Departure
You will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for onward journey. Note: Hattiban Rock Climbing The Hattiban rock climbing spot is located on the way to the famous pilgrimage site Dakshinkali Temple. This site is recommended especially for professionals where they can enjoy their climb according to grades. Hattiban is 1 hour of drive away from the Thamel area. Again another 30 minute of hiking is required in order to reach the exact spot. 3 Sisters Rock Climbing: This has been developed and is controlled by 3 Sisters Adventure in Pokhara. It has a 14 well developed routes and is still under construction. This is just very fresh and very well done, but more for Beginners a lot of detailed explanation on the site. The access is with fee payable at 3 Sisters Lodge and the number of climbers allowed on site at the same time is controlled. The site has ethics rules.
