There are 2 ways to get to A Trip to Tibet & Nepal. The first is to travel overland from Kathmandu to Tibet. From Kathmandu, the Tibet border is about 115 kilometers north along the Araniko Highway, which connects Kathmandu to the border town of Kodari. Kodari is the last town on the Nepal side. From Kodari, the Tibet (China) border is just a couple hundred meters away.
