Around Annapurna circuit Trekking is a long course that follows Marsyandi River, crosses Thorung pass from the Manang basin and descends to the Kaligandaki. It is rich in variety and vistas from the ruling hill of Marsyangdi to the Himalayan interior, providing the complete trekking experience.
The change of scenery at the limits of Thorung pass and the remains around the sacred area of Muktinath is also extremely interesting.Around Annapurna circuit Trekking is one of the finest treks in the Annapurna Massif.
Trekking north, we acclimatize in the important trading village of Manang 3351m, before crossing the Thorong pass, 5416m. Further south, the contrast of Nepali Himalayas become even more apparent, as high windswept passes are replaced by forest or mandarins and banana groves. Finally, we trek out the gorges and look back to the peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri before traversing the forest ridges down to Pokhara.
Annapurna Massif is situated in north-central Nepal includes one peak above 8000m ie Annapurna II(8091m), 13 peaks above 7000m, 16 peaks above 6000m.Around Annapurna circuit Trek is the total length of 160-230km 100-145miles) depending on up to where motor transport is used & where the trek is ended.Around Annapurna Circuit trek crosses 2 rivers; Marshyangdi river & Kaligandaki river. This trek rises from 760m to 5416m at Thorungla Pass encircling the Annapurna Massif.The major Himalayas seen in this trip are Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Annapurna South, Dhawalagiri, Macchapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli & many other named & unnamed peaks of 6000-7000m. We take you on the high trail from Pisang visa Ghyaru & Ngawal to Manang as the views are spectacular, and the two villages of the best-preserved example of the Tibetan styles villages in the original state.
