Bhutan Tibet and Nepal Combined Holidays journey takes you to the most popular Himalayan countries, Nepal, Bhutan & Tibet, referred as the last Shangri La. The journey begins in Bhutan, Paro- the capital of Bhutan-the country of peaceful dragon, Tibet Roof top of the World and Nepal Country of Mount Everest. You will visit the monasteries and Dzongs of Bhutan. Dzongs are mighty fortresses with exterior walls enclosing a complex of temples, administrative offices, monks accommodation, and courtyards. Dzongs were frequently built on a hilltop or mountain spur. If the dzong is built on the side of a valley wall, a smaller dzong or watchtower. fly back to Kathmandu; start the journey to flying in to Lhasa; driving above the high passes, higher than 5000m that dwarf the Himalayan giants. Potala palace of the Dalai Lamas, the holiest of the Tibetan temple- Jokhang and visit to the traditional Bharkhor Street. Today the palace serves as a state museum of China. This towering central portion of Potala is called the Red palace. Jokhang Temple: The Jokhang Temple is the most revered Buddhist temple in Lhasa and of Tibet, built by King Songtsen Gampo in about 642 AD. This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was originally called, Rasa Tulnang Tsuklakang (House of Mysteries). The roofs of the temple are gilded with bronze. The rooftop has statues of two golden deer surrounding a Dharma wheel.

You end the tour of Tibet in Lhasa and drive out to Kathmandu, Experience art and architecture, diverse culture, wonderful landscapes & stunning views of snowy mountains in Nepal. then you will visit Places of interest in Nepal, visit Kathmandu Valley with its legendary Palaces, Buddhist Stupas, Hindu Temples & Buddhist Monasteries, You would be amazed to see the wooden sculptures of Bhaktapur city, Metal casting of Patan City & Hippi Temples & living Goddess, Kumari of Kathmandu Durbar. Then visit Pokhara city, & Chitwan national park for wildlife adventure. Itinerary

Day 01

Paro

Arrival Paro Sightseeing then drive to Thimpu you can fly to Paro from Bangkok or any other cities like Kolkotta, Delhi, Kathmandu, Dhaka Drive to Paro, you will visit the fortified tower of Ta Dzong, now a natural history Museum, ruins of Drugyal Dzong that once guarded the invading Tibetan forces, and Kyichu Temple of 7th century. Drive to Thimpu. Overnight Thimpu.

Day 02

Thimphu Sightseeing

Am visit Memorial Chorten, National Library, Painting School, Handicrafts Emporium Weekend market. PM visit Pangri Zampa Monastery, Semtokha Dzong & Pangri Zampa Monastery.

Day 03

Thimphu -Punakha-Wangdue Phodrang

Drive two & half hours to Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong & Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Early morning scenic drive on the mountain route towards the former capital of Bhutan passing through the Dochula pass (alt. 10,000 feet); stunning scenery of Himalayan ranges. Descend to Punakha & tour the town. After picnic lunch by the Wangdi River continue to Wangdue phodrang Dzong, the most picturesque in Bhutan.Overnight at Punakha.

Day 04

Punakha-Paro

Excursion to Taktsang Monastery Transfer to Paro, 3 hours drive, then for 03 hrs hike to the Taktsang Monastery. Taktsang is the most famous of all Bhutanese monasteries. It is perched on the side of a cliff 900 m above the floor of the Paro valley, where the only sounds are the murmurs of the wind, and water and the chanting of the monks. The name Taktsang means Tigers Nest; the Guru is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to the site of the monastery where he meditated in a cave for three months.

Day 05

Paro-Kathmandu (B)

Flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel. After refreshment, sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur and Patan, two medieval sister principalities of Kathmandu which since then till today compete each other for their proud arts, crafts and architectures. You will visit the palaces, temples, stupas and monasteries.

Day 06

Kathmandu-Lhasa

Fly to Lhasa. Transfer to Lhasa city. Rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize.

Day 07

Lhasa Sightseeing

Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Street. Afternoon visit Sera & Drepung Monastery.

Day 08

Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse

Today’s drive is the most spectacular one and involves crossing of a high pass-Karo La [5045m]. You will stop for lunch in Nangkartse-a small, developing town, beyond which the road follows the bank of a beautiful turquoise lake, the Yamdrok-tso. After about 90km, you will arrive at Gyantse. The Pelkor Chode (Kumbum), also named Palcho Monastery, is very different from other monasteries. Built as a Tibetan monastery, its structural style is very unique, reputed as the lord of Tibetan stupas. In addition, it is famous for the architecture, sculpture, and mural painting art. It lies about 230 kilometers (143 miles) south of Lhasa and 100 (62 miles) east of Shigatse at the foot of Dzong Hill. Day 09

Shigaste-Everest Base camp (Rongbuk Monastery)

340km, 7 hours driving, 4985m Morning time to visit TashiLumpo Monastery which was Built in1447, spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas,Then we drive along the Friend-ship highway to Xegar. Then further drive of 3 hours to Rombuk Monastery During this route, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more, such as:Mt. Lhotse(8516m), Mt. Everest(8848m), Mt. Qowowuyag(8201m), Mt Mayalu(8463m). Then arrive at Rongbuk Monastery.

Day 10

Explore Everest Base camp

Then drive to Nyalam(240km, 7-8 hours, Rough road around mountains, 3755-2310m, in the morning take snaps of the sunrise at Mt. Everest. Then drive through mountainous road to Nyalam.

Day 11

Nyalam-Kathmandu

Today you will drive 114km, 4-5 hours through Bhotekoshi River. After days of travel through Tibetan deserted land, you will see the green mountains, rivers when you enter into Nepal. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 12

Kathmandu-Pokhara 200 km

Today you will drive 4 hours through Prithivi highway .

Day 13

Pokhara

You will take a full day sightseeing tours in Pokhara valley. That includes visiting temples, caves, gorges and waterfalls and boating in lakes as well. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views and many adventurous outdoor activities. Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake are the major attraction for sightseeing and boating. The Tal Barahi Temple is located at the middle of Phewa Lake. Many other religious places can be found in Pokhara like Bindabasini Temple, Gupteswor Mahadev Temple inside the Gupteswor Cave, peace and beautiful White peace Gumba and several others. The top of Sarangkot offers the amazing views of Annapurna range to the north of Pokhara including Annapurna and Machhapuchhre as well as the sunrise and sunset. Apart from this natural scenery Pokhara is also famous for many outdoor adventurous activities like Paragliding, Gip flying and many others. Day 14

Pokhara-Chitwan

After breakfast, you will drive to Chitwan National Park. You will drive along the Marshyangdi & camp; Trisuli River. You will pass by villages, farmlands and terraces of hills before arriving Chitwan. Chitwan lies in the southern Terai belt of Nepal, 156 km from Pokhara. Royal Chitwan National Park is Asia’s one of the most famous games parks. After having lunch, you will go for short walk tour to the villages of Tharu Tribal people, most probably with a Tharu guide. In the evening, there will be slides shows or cultural dance presentation. Hotel: Gaida Wildlife Camps and Lodges.

Day 15

Chitwan

Today you will be kept busy in jungle safari activities like Elephant Riding, Bird Watching, and Canoeing etc. Overnight in bungalows or camps. Hotel: Gaida Wildlife Camps and Lodges.

Day 16

Chitwan-Kathmandu

Early morning after breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Optional you can enjoy 3 hours of white water rafting on the Trisuli. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17

Departure

Transfer to airport for departure.
