Everest Base Camp Hike is one of the most popular trekking routes on Earth. Each year there are more than 34000 to 39,000 trekkers in a season in this area.

Mount Everest, known as Sagarmatha in Nepali, Qomolongma in Tibetan, & Mt.Everest in English, is the tallest peak on earth with 8848m (29,035ft) altitude. Everest base camp trekking from Nepal side (also known as south base camp) is a trek of 12 nights 13 days from Kathmandu to Kathmandu, takes you at an Altitude of 5,364 meters (17,598 ft) at the base camp. You will further climb to Kalapattar at an altitude of 5545m. This Everest Base Camp Hike begins with the flight to Lukla Then you will walk upward to Namche Bazaar, the famous center for trading food, trekking Equipment etc

Normally you will have to acclimatize 2 days here, and then slowly you will gain the altitude & walk towards Tengboche & to Everest base camp & Kalapattar (5545m). Flora & Fauna found in the Everest trekking areas ;pine and hemlock forests, while fir, juniper, birch and rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The Everest national park is home to the red panda, snow leopard, musk deer, Himalayan tahr, marten, Himalayan mouse hare (pika) and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan pheasant, snow cock, blood pheasant, red-billed cough etc.

Before flying to Lukla you will have Sightseeing of World Heritage sites; Pashupatinath Temple Boudhanath Stupa & Bhaktapur City.
