Nagarjuna Hiking

This hill is also described in the literature as Vindhya Mountain. Hill site of Kathmandu Valley covered by thick forest with historical as well as the natural setting. It is very popular hiking spot, there is famous Buddhist Stupa named as Jama cho.
The place is about 7km away from Kathmandu itself. It is most popular of immense pleasure and the spectacular view of the Himalayas like Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Gaurishankhar etc.It has a view tower which provides the magnificent panoramic view of Kathmandu valley and the mountains on the northern side Cost Includes. Nagarjuna hill in the north of Kathmandu where you can feel a peaceful state of mind with the natural setting; it’s the best place to meditate. It is the nearest hiking trail from the tourist center of Thamel.
The well preserved Nagarjun forest is part of the youngest and smallest Shivapuri Nagarjun national park. The hiking starts from the fulbari gate at the eastern base of the hill. The well-made trail climbs on steps at first and then gradually winds through the thick forest. The hilly area in the daytime is always good for raptors that are seen soaring. At the top are Buddhist monastery and a view tower.
The hill is named after the Siddha Nagarjuna there are caves and dwellings of him. Besides Nagarjuna cave, there are some other caves of Buddha, Mahasiddhas.One of the famous story of the Buffalo Buddha. From the zenith of the Nagarjuna hill, you can observe Kathmandu valley, Swyambhu hill with famous two eyes of Buddha, Nuwakot with Buddhist shrines and monasteries as well as beautiful scenery. The beautiful scenery and nature is always wonderful, making it a great walking experience in Nepal. At the end of the day, drive back to Kathmandu.

Plan Holidays did a fantastic job on our whole trip! We did the trip that included time in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park and a 5-day trek around Annapurna. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we had guides showing us around and everything was perfectly planned for us. Maila, our trekking guide was amazing and had so much knowledge! It was a great trip!

I had a wonderful experience
I recently booked a tour with Plan Holidays, and I had a wonderful experience. Anuja scheduled the tour, and it was comforting to have our trip covered without any concerns. Our guide Shiva took us through Kathmandu, and showed all us the highlights of the city and provided us with the cultural and historical background. We also did the Poon Hill Trek with guides Chitiz and Ashmir, who provided a peaceful hike through the Himalayas. On our last two days, we spent time in Chitwan National Park, where our guide, Robin, took us on adventures where we saw crocodiles and rhinos. The entire package was affordable, and our guides met our every need; they went out of their way for us on many occasions. It was comforting to get off the bus and see our guides waiting for us with our name tags. I would highly encourage anyone to book a trip through this company. I promise that you will have an amazing experience--five stars!
