It is a model home-stay tour package in Nepal. The Sirubari Village Homestay program gives visitors a first-hand experience of village life in Sirubari, a pristine Gurung village in Syanja district, located at the southwest of Pokhara city. It is 1700m above from sea level. Sirubari won the PATA GOLD AWARD 2001 in the Heritage and Cultural Heritage category.

However, the ideal time to visit is between September and June. Foot trails through the village are all stone paved. The overwhelming impression of the village is one of order and cleanliness but with a warm and welcoming feel to it. Sirubari is a racial Gurung settlement which has been residential as Homestay village due to its natural gorgeousness and friendly villagers.

Sirubari is the diverse features of village existence and culture and arts. You get a chance to explore the local village and the hospitality of Nepalese homestay. The season is September to June, and while staying there visitors can visit cottage industries such as traditional handicrafts and paper making; and a plant nursery covering 380 hectares of flora, including one million trees and plants. During your stay, you will be able to feel what it is like to live the life of a Nepali villager and fell the daily life of these people.

If you like swimming there are natural pools with crystal Clearwater that comes down from the Himalayas. You can see and participate in seasonal farming and might get a chance to take the animals for grazing along with the villagers. In the evening culture program at gompa.

You can sing and dance with the local villagers. The villagers of Sirubari greeting their visitors by playing music on Panche Baja, madal, drum and flute. From Langtang in the east, through Machhapuchare and the Annapurnas and around to Dhaulagiri the Himalayan giants all line up for your camera to capture.
